Admissions to Kennel Lane School is through the Local Authority SEND team.  

Kennel Lane School  is for learners with severe and profound learning difficulties and there is a high demand for places.  Kennel Lane School is currently full.

Our aim is for carers and parents to make a fully informed choice for their child’s education, based on a longer term view of their educational journey, taking into account many factors, including those that are sometimes missed. These include:

- The importance of learners accessing and generalising knowledge within their local community, especially from year 9 upwards.

- Travel to and from school and the implications of the withdrawal of education transport provision.
